About the Project
The iExhale app has been developed by researchers at Oxford Brookes University with the aim providing lung cancer survivors with a tailor made, self-management tool that can be used to inform their exercise choices and improve their symptom severity, quality of life and self-efficacy. The features and content of the app have been developed by adopting a user-centred approach, involving end users (lung cancer patients) and key stakeholders (carers, primary and secondary health care professionals) at various stages of the app design process. The research has been led throughout by Dr Cathy Henshall.
